Reporting and Analytics Manager

Reports To: Chief Information Officer

Midwest Vision Partners, the premier eye care company in the Midwest, is seeking candidates to lead its reporting and analytics efforts. Join a fast-growing team with over 40 locations, 90 physicians, and focus on advancing through teamwork, honesty, and a relentless focus on our patients.

The Reporting and Analytics Manager will be focused on expanding and developing the enterprise reporting tools. Areas of focus include data consolidation and management, operational reporting, marketing insights, and support of the financial reporting and analysis function. This role will focus on rapidly maturing a nascent reporting and analytics practice within a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • • Expand and develop corporate data resources (data lake, data warehousing, and data governance)
  • • Deploy timely and effective reports and visualizations to the management team and practice leadership
  • • Collaborate with technology vendors and consultants to advance multiple analytics and reporting projects concurrently
  • • Elicit requirements, develop visualizations, and iterate products with the operations, marketing, finance, and accounting teams
  • • Maintain ongoing data collection, transformation, and governance
  • • Extend data landscape to include additional sources and systems (e.g. HRIS, FP&A tools)
  • • This role is based in our Chicago Headquarters with the possibility of partial remote-work


Qualifications and Skills

  • • Excellent SQL skills required
  • • Ability to develop reports (including query writing, visualization, and user interface optimization in SSRS, Power BI, or other common reporting tools)
  • • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both senior business leaders and highly technical resources
  • • Working knowledge of healthcare billing preferred (ICD10, CPT Codes, health-information technology)


Education and Experience

  • • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • • 2+ years of experience in report writing, SQL development, or other data-heavy functions
  • • Experience with Allscrtips PM and Nextech (MDI Intellisys) preferred
