The RLE Procedure
With RLE, You don’t have to wait for your cataracts to worsen, nor do you have to accept that your prescription is too high for corrective surgery.
RLE involves the surgeon replacing your natural lens with with an intraocular lens (IOL) to improve your vision.
You can even get a specialty lens that reduces or eliminates your need for glasses and contacts for distance and near vision. Ask your surgeon during the initial appointment.
Post-Op Recovery
Your surgeon may have you use eye drops after surgery. They’ll discuss the full recovery process with you, including how long it’ll be before you can get back to normal activities.
