Find out if this is the solution you’ve been looking for during your appointment.
The LASIK Procedure
Blurry vision and other refractive symptoms add more difficulty to your everyday activities. You don’t have to live with poor vision—LASIK can correct several refractive errors including:
- Astigmatism
- Farsightedness
- Nearsightedness
Millions of people have already discovered the wonderful benefits of LASIK, but this laser vision correction might not be the right solution for everyone.
The best way to find out which vision correction option is right for you is through an appointment.
What Happens During LASIK Surgery?
During LASIK surgery, your surgeons will create a thin flap on the surface of your eye, usually using an IntraLase Laser. Then your surgeon will use another, more advanced laser to reshape your cornea to reduce or eliminate your vision issues. In total, the surgery takes about 10-15 minutes to completely correct both eyes.
Post-Op Recovery
One of the highlights of LASIK is the quick, comfortable recovery process. Most patients report visual improvements by the next day. Your vision will steadily improve over the next few weeks, resulting in stable, clear vision. You will be put on a drop regimen to help with the healing and to alleviate any temporary dry eye you may experience during the recovery time.
