Dr. Obermeier grew up in Medina, OH. She studied biology at the College of Wooster and graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2023. Her student clinical rotations at the University of the Incarnate Word specialty clinics included pediatrics, contact lenses, and vision therapy. She then completed a one-year residency training program in Ocular Disease at the Cleveland Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, where she managed complex ocular disease and provided pre- and post-operative care. Dr. Obermeier received recognition for academic and clinical achievements while in optometry school, and has presented at several educational conferences, including the American Academy of Optometry and the annual Ohio Optometric Association meeting. She is passionate about patient care and is committed to advocating for eye health. She now resides in Cleveland, OH with her fiance and their rescue dogs, and enjoys hiking and Cleveland sports. Dr. Obermeier loves Mitchell’s Ice Cream!
