Clint D. Simpson, M.D., graduated from Wayne State School of Medicine with high honors and completed his residency at the Detroit Medical Center’s Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, MI. He specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and other eye diseases.
During Dr. Simpson’s residency training he was voted by his faculty to receive the Outstanding Clinical Excellence Faculty Award and Most Compassionate Physician Award.
Dr. Simpson has been involved with many ophthalmology research studies, working with some of Lansing and metro Detroit’s well-known eye doctors. He is also passionate about the patient, medical student, and resident education.
Dr. Simpson provides resident and student mentoring to share his love of the field of ophthalmology. He’s no stranger to health care. For many years he worked as a certified nursing assistant helping patients in a rehabilitation/nursing facility.
Born and raised in St. John’s, Michigan, he knew at an early age that his interest in medicine and surgery would one day lead him into the field he has chosen.
