Biography

Dr. Cutler received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and served a transitional internship at Oakwood-Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and vitreoretinal surgical fellowship at the Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Cutler is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He is board certified in Ophthalmology. He has authored several peer-reviewed scientific papers and textbook chapters and has been invited to present his research at national ophthalmic meetings. He also works to provide peer-review of submitted research papers to major ophthalmic journals. He has participated on multiple clinical trials on various retinal diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and uveitis.

Dr. Cutler is currently on staff at Ascension Hospital in Novi and Southfield and operates at Straith Hospital in Southfield.
