Working as an ophthalmologist has been a lifelong dream for Dr. Bailey. Because his mother worked as an ophthalmic assistant, Dr. Bailey spent time after school at the practice, sparking an interest in ophthalmology at a young age that never wavered throughout his education. Dr. Bailey believes the way an ophthalmologist can improve a patient’s quality of life is unique in medicine, and he is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to treat every patient.
Dr. Bailey chose to specialize in cataract and refractive surgery because it allows him to help patients see more clearly. The surgical skills, precision planning, attention to detail, and decision-making essential for this process contribute to his confidence in delivering excellent care. Every day, Dr. Bailey is thankful for this occupation and looks forward to determining how his skill set can best help his patients.
