Dr. Mandy Ward is a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She received her Bachelors of Science from Youngstown State University where she also completed graduate work in Neurology from 2001-2003.
As an active member of both the Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, Dr. Ward has served two terms as OOA Zone Governor and has acted as the member chairperson. Her goal is to incorporate programs such as Realeyes and InfantSEE into the practice as a way to promote the importance of children’s ocular health.
She is also a past member of the local Lions Club and had previously served as President of the Ohio State Optometry chapter. Dr. Ward enjoys the community service aspect of the club which is active in several projects including Pre-school and Elementary school vision screenings and Coats for Kids. The club’s main focus, in keeping with the Lions Club International’s founding purpose, is to preserve vision.
In her spare time, Dr. Ward enjoys running and spending time with her husband and two beautiful boys
