After obtaining his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completing residencies and his Board Certification in Ophthalmology at St. Luke’s Hospital, Dr. Bodnar wished to remain and start his career in Northeast Ohio. He accepted a position with Eye Care of Medina, maintaining a special interest in medical retina. After 5 years, he purchased the well established Medina Eye Associates, where he has been in solo ophthalmology practice since 1993. Over his 32 years of practice in Medina County, he has established many meaningful relationships with patients, colleagues, and local physicians.

Dr. Bodnar is honored and excited to be joining the highly regarded Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons. He looks forward to continuing to provide his patients with the highest quality care, as well as welcoming new patients to the practice. Each patient’s eye care is intrinsically linked to their overall medical health, and Dr. Bodnar strives to merge the art of Medicine with Ophthalmology.
