RaShawn W. Venerable, D.O., specializes in cataract and plastic surgery for the eye or Oculoplastics. He knew at a young age that he wanted to be a physician after his sister was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. He entered his career to find that the treatment for such diseases became a rewarding discovery for him. Dr. Venerable found that different diseases and treatment of the eyes to be very engaging and intellectually rewarding.
He attributes his expertise to his many great mentors, both physicians, and patients alike. One of the most important lessons Dr. Venerable learned from them was to treat and medically manage patients the way he would want a member of his family to be treated.
