Dr. Muenk earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. After attending Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Muenk completed her internship at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Cataract and Eye Consultants of Michigan were pleased to welcome her to their professional staff in August 2005.
The focal point of Sarah B. Muenk‘s practice is cataract surgery, however Dr. Muenk also performs laser treatments for many diseases and treats glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye and other ocular conditions.
Dr. Sarah B. Muenk is a member of the Michigan State Medical Society and the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, as well as the Macomb County Medical Society. Dr. Sarah B. Muenk is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She enjoys travel, playing tennis, and outdoor adventures with her three children and dog.
