Dr. Platt received his BS degree magna cum laude from Baldwin Wallace College and his MD degree from the Northeastern Ohio Medical University. His ophthalmology residency was at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. Dr. Platt then went on to complete a fellowship in ocular oncology at the Cleveland Clinic and in vitreoretinal surgery at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Platt’s principal areas of interest are macular surgery, retinal detachment surgery, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal lasers, and ocular oncology.
Dr. Platt practices at Cleveland Eye Clinic, and is an associated doctor Retina Associates of Cleveland.
